Our client (mainly into food production & distribution) is looking to recruit a CEO who will report directly to the Board of Directors in Jeddah – KSA.

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Oversee the company’s operations with P&L responsibilities for the Saudi region which includes operating entities and corporate office. 
• Responsible for overall financial structure and guide & steer the strategic direction of the company.
• Achieve a record of sales, production and a net profit in line with business plan. Reviews operating results of the division, compares them to established objectives and ensures appropriate measures are taken to corrective measurements.
• Developing manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing their implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilisation of the manufacturing units towards achieving the group’s strategy, growth and profit objectives.
• Directing and coordinating the promotion of products manufactured or services performed to develop new markets, increase market share and obtain competitive position in the industry.
• Advises, guides, directs and authorizes personnel to carry out major plans and procedures consistent with established policies and corporate approval.
• Partner with Human Resources and staffing agencies to recruit and develop team members from entry level to all leadership and subject matter expert positions. In liaison with the Human Resource Department; appraise performance of subordinates
• Perform direction of safety, quality and productivity in the division and recommends changes where desirable. Manage workplace inspections and monitors compliance with all Health and Safety. Establish safety goals and objectives; review of safety statistics and loss runs; lead formal management safety committee.

The candidate will work with a top tier management team dedicated to developing, manufacturing and selling products and services, act as the key face of the company, manage existing customer and channel partner relationships, develop new customers/channels to market and develop strategic partnerships and ensure that overall revenue and profit goals are achieved and shareholder value is delivered.
