Our client - a large bank is looking for a Head of Investor Relations reporting directly to Group CFO in Dubai.

This senior role will have the responsibility to lead and manage all aspects of the bank's investor relations practices, policies and initiatives in order to maintain and continuously improve relationships with the bank’s current and prospective investors and analysts who cover to ensure the bank’s interests are appropriately reflected within the market and amongst its customers.

Primary job responsibilities include:

Investor Relations Strategy:

·        Lead, develop and implement an investor relations strategy and framework for the bank in order to effectively and appropriately position the bank in the market and to protect the bank’s interests

Investor Relations:

·        Lead investor communication events including arranging results conference calls, meetings, industry events and meetings in order to ensure the consistent communication of the bank's performance and interests and ensure compliance to the bank’s disclosure requirements

·        Educate and update investors, analysts and rating agencies about the bank and its performance so that appropriate information is carefully disclosed.

Annual General Meeting:

·        Draft the CEO presentation for AGM & Townhall meetings. Managing the Q&A document for the AGM, ensuring all significant issues/questions are addressed in the communication pack circulated to the Board

External Reporting:

·        Direct and review the formulation and presentation of external-facing reports detailing the financial health of the bank, such as quarterly presentations and press releases, direct and maintain the bank’s disclosure policy and protect the interests of the bank.

·        Lead and manage the bank’s quarterly reporting process including scheduling and managing press releases, investor/analysts calls and following up on questions in order to fully engage investors and comply with the bank’s disclosure requirements

Annual Report:

Oversee and project manage the development of the bank’s annual report to ensure that the report complies with external requirements, undergoes appropriate internal and external review and is assured to be error free. The managing process involves drafting and raising an RFP, finding the most suitable vendor to continuously improve and enhance the bank's financial, risk and corporate governance disclosures

Investor Relations Kit/Materials:

·        Own and direct all aspect of investor and external communications in order to ensure brand consistency, assure accuracy and protect the bank’s interests

·        Develop the full investor relations toolkit including investor relations presentations, press releases and communication materials for earnings releases, industry events and presentations to analysts and investors in order to ensure accurate information is transmitted and the investor relations strategy is achieved

Quarterly Results Updates/Peer Group Analysis:

·        Provide senior management (MEC) analyst feedback on the Bank’s quarterly financial results, highlight main themes/issues, areas of concern. Carry our comparative financial industry analysis, draft/oversee the peer group analysis presentation for senior management, to show bank's performance in relation to our peer group

·        Highlight the main themes/issues

Arranging Roadshows:

·        Arranging investor roadshows in collaboration with investment banks to promote the bank to targeted investors. Preparing a detailed investor presentation and drafting QandA for senior management

·        Ensuring all content is up to date; financials are uploaded in a timely manner following the quarterly announcements. Managing all financial and strategic disclosure under ‘About us

Shareholder Data:

·        Managing and monitoring the shareholder ownership of the bank. Updating the CEO/CFO/Treasurer on a monthly basis regarding the changes in the Bank’s ownership levels, identify who is buying/who is selling

Share Price Performance:

·        Monitor the bank’s share price performance, provide analysis if required (volumes, price, peer group performance.

Award Submissions:

·        Drafting submissions for prestigious international awards communicating bank's financial performance and strategy
