Our client – a large bank is looking for a CEO (reporting directly to the Board of Directors) for their entity located in Nairobi – Kenya. 

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Oversee the bank’s entire Kenya operations/business with P&L responsibilities – this involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets which includes branches and corporate office. 
• Fostering positive relationships with host country government officials, key clients, partners and overseeing the delivery of the bank's programs and services.
• Focusing on corporate and investment businesses coupled with Retail banking and continue to established all infrastructures, including policy documents and liquidity management structure.
• Responsible for overall financial structure and guide & steer the strategic direction of the Bank.
• Enhancing the bank’s reach across a diverse mix of customer segments and industries.
• Recruit staff and built a high-performance culture. 
• Improve commercial bank operations with correspondent relationships and clearing facilities in the major global currencies.
• Play a key part to produce business performance reports to be on a monthly or quarterly basis.

The candidate will work with a top tier management team dedicated to enhancing the bank’s reach across a diverse mix of customer segments and industries. Act as the key face of the bank, develop new strategic client relationship/partnerships and ensure that overall revenue and profit goals are achieved and shareholder value is delivered.
